This UHF RFID automobile production line management system targets full-process control covering welding, painting, general assembly and final inspection workshops. High-temperature resistant reusable RFID tags are mounted on each vehicle body to act as exclusive digital identities. Fixed RFID readers are installed at all process nodes, paired with on-site handheld terminals and industrial electronic kanbans. 
The system connects to MES, ERP, WMS via standardized data interfaces, automatically collecting real-time production, quality inspection and material matching data. It realizes whole-life-cycle traceability of each vehicle, prevents assembly errors, visualizes production progress, and supports automatic report generation to realize Industry 4.0 intelligent workshop operation.
I. Pain Points of Traditional Automobile Production Line Management
1.1 Manual recording & barcode identification restrict line efficiency
Traditional production relies on manual paper logs and single-point barcode scanning. Barcodes fail under high temperature, paint mist and oily workshop environments, requiring manual pause for scanning. Mass mixed-model production leads to frequent missed scans, wrong records and production line stagnation, unable to capture real-time vehicle flow data.

1.2 Serious isolated data silos between multiple business systems
ERP, MES, warehouse management and workshop equipment systems operate independently without unified data exchange. Production orders, material picking and quality records need repeated manual transcription, causing inconsistent data and delayed scheduling adjustments.

1.3 Discontinuous full vehicle traceability & difficult quality accountability
There is unified binding between vehicle VIN, assembly records and test data under manual mode. Once quality defects occur, managers cannot rapidly locate corresponding stations, operators and component batches, lengthening product recall and investigation cycles.

Workshop production progress, equipment utilization and inventory status can only be counted manually after shifts. Managers cannot view real-time throughput, work-in-process quantity and equipment failure data for timely production optimization.

II. Solution Overview
2.1 Reusable high-temperature RFID tag one-to-one vehicle binding
Encode unique tags carrying VIN, order number, production route and configuration information before vehicles enter production lines. Adopt heat-resistant, anti-metal reusable tags adapted to painting workshop high-temperature ovens. Tags are detached after final inspection for cyclic reuse to reduce long-term consumable cost.

2.2 Full-process automatic non-contact data collection
Deploy fixed RFID reading portals at welding, painting, assembly and inspection station entrances. Vehicle bodies are automatically identified while passing without stopping, synchronously uploading process completion signals to the background system. Handheld terminals support spot-checking of work-in-process vehicles and material matching verification.

2.3 Middleware-based cross-system data interconnection
Special industrial data middleware realizes bidirectional data interaction between RFID acquisition layer and ERP/MES/WMS. Production orders, material distribution and quality test data are synchronized in real time to eliminate duplicate manual entry and unify enterprise data standards.

2.4 Process interlock anti-misassembly early warning mechanism
The system compares tag vehicle configuration with station matching parts data in real time. If mismatched components are prepared for assembly, on-site electronic kanbans and terminals trigger audio-visual alarms to block wrong assembly at source, greatly reducing rework loss.

2.5 On-site visualized production supervision system
Link RFID data with workshop large-screen electronic kanbans to display real-time production throughput, station load, work-in-process stock and equipment operation status. Abnormal stagnation, equipment downtime and material shortage information are pushed to management terminals instantly.

2.6 Automatic multi-dimensional production data analysis & reporting
The background platform automatically generates real-time order progress, equipment utilization, production yield and quality defect statistical reports. Complete vehicle production electronic archives are permanently stored, supporting rapid quality tracing, batch recall and regular enterprise compliance auditing.
