RFID radio frequency identification technology application case: the application of anti-theft tags in supermarkets and shopping malls

Apr 25,2022

The RFID tag can be pasted on the item, and a detection device is installed at the supermarket exit. The normal process is that when the item is checked out, the cashier will change the content of the RFID tag and lift the restriction during the checkout process. Otherwise, when the item with the RFID tag passes through the supermarket exit , the detection device reads the content of the label and determines that the payment has not been settled, and will issue an alarm signal to realize theft prevention in the supermarket, as shown in the following picture:

  Instructions:

 The radio frequency tag should be attached to a dry and flat surface, and the bending of the radio frequency anti-theft tag will cause the signal attenuation of the tag;

 Frozen packaged goods need special treatment for anti-theft labels;

 Which kind of packaging cannot use radio frequency anti-theft tags:

 Products in aluminum foil bags such as: facial mask, black sesame paste, milk powder, coffee, etc.

 Metal products: iron pans, barrels of milk powder, etc.

 The anti-theft label paste product should be larger than the label specification, do not fold it;

 The standard specification of radio frequency tags is 40x40M, the larger the tag, the more sensitive it is, and the smaller the smaller the weaker;

  How to solve:

Acoustic magnetic labels can be used for metal packaging or commodities to solve the above problems, but the cost is relatively high.
